The Mardasson Memorial (commonly called the Mardasson) is a monument high on a hill located about two kilometers northeast of Bastogne. Inaugurated in 1950, it testifies to the recognition of the Belgian population to the American soldiers who, during the winter of 1944-1945, gave their lives during the battle of the Ardennes to counter the last German offensive of the Second World War. December 11, 2021 is "Nuts Day" in commemoration of the Battle of the Ardennes. Drawing with colored pencils on A3 sheet.
